The following cars are the type of cars that you would see Tony Star or Bill Gates would use. Here are the Top Expensive Cars of the World.
“I couldn’t find the sports car of my dreams, so I built it myself.”
Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita – $4.8 Million
CLASS: – Sports Car LAYOUT – Rear mid-engine
ASSEMBLY – Sweden BODY STYLE – 2-door Targa top
Our first magnificent car on the list is the Swedish made Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. It is considered to be the most expensive street-legal car in the market today. Wonder why it costs $4.8 Million?Well, let’s just say that this car is coated with diamonds. Yes! Real diamonds which are called the Koenigsegg Proprietary Diamond Weave (diamond-dust coated carbon fibers). It is designed by none other than, Christian von Koenigsegg himself (founder, CEO). Its top speed is over 400 km/h or 249 mph
Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is considered to be one of the rarest vehicles ever made and manufactured by Koenigsegg. Only two people in this world managed to get their hands on this rare jewel: Floyd Mayweather Jr., a world renown boxer and a man in Geneva.
Lamborghini Veneno – $4.5 Million
CLASS – Sports Car LAYOUT – Mid-engine/All-wheel
ASSEMBLY – Italy BODY STYLE – 2-door coupe/roadster
The Lamborghini Veneno or Poison in Italian is a modified version of the Lamborghini Aventador. It was built for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini in 2013. At that time, it was the most expensive production car in the world. They built only FIVE of these: One is for the factory testing, one is kept for itself as a model, and the other three were sold to the people. This incredibly designed car was revealed to the public at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
It has a limited top speed of 354 km/h and can do 0-97 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and not to mention it can brake 97-0 at 30 m and corners at 1.41. In 2014, a limited version of the Veneno was released that has exclusive alloy wheels that go with it. In that same year, it went on sale for 3,300,000 euros. It is also considered to be a Supercar.
Bugatti Veyron – $3.4 Million
CLASS – Sports Car LAYOUT – Longitudinal mid-engine
ASSEMBLY – France BODY STYLE – 2-door Targa top/coupe
This super sports car was designed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group but was manufactured in France by the Bugatti Automobiles. In a television show Top Gear from BBC, it was named the Car of the Decade and best car award. The previous and original version of this car has a top speed of 407 HM/h. But the super sports car version is considered to be the fastest street-legal production car in the entire world by Guinness World Records with 431.072 km/h.
The Bugatti Veryon 16.4 Super Sports World Record Editon only has a FIVE UNITS. The final production of Bugatti Veyrons entitled “LaFinale” meaning The End, was actually displayed at the Geneva Motor Show last March of 2015
Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio – $4.8 Million
CLASS – Concept Car LAYOUT – MR Layout
ASSEMBLY – Italy BODY STYLE – 2-seat Spider
This next one, unlike any of the previous ones, is NOT a sports car. In fact, it is a concept car. It is a type of car that is made to showcase a new style or design or even the newest technology it features. These types of cars are often shown at motor shows. The Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio is actually the Ferrari 458 Spider that has been transformed. This is to honor Sergio Pininfarina who died in 2012. Compared to the Spider, it has brand new elements that have been included like the light alloy wheel rims.
A sports car version of this car was designed, and it is called the Ferrari Sergio. It was first delivered in the United Arab Emirates in December of 2014 during the SBH Royal Auto Gallery. It was strictly sold by invitation only.
It doesn’t always matter what kind of car you drive. It is the character you show when you’re driving in the streets. But then again, aiming at having their dream car is what motivates people to work hard. So, let these cars be an inspiration. Always remember: material things never last no matter how expensive they are.
